It's the registration boom. Since we have been organizing our monthly "coffee meetings", we have noticed a higher expectation on the theme of NFT related to art and luxury. We meet two types of audiences: those who tell us right away "I don't understand anything" and those who "are looking to take advantage of the web 3.0 potential".
For those who are in the "I don't understand anything" group, I invite you to come and discover, little by little, all that I have learned over the last year. Then come the OGs (the first ones, click on the link to the excellent NFT France website to get the definition). These second ones master an aspect of the ecosystem. They love crypto-currency, gaming, digital tools and blockchain. Marketing agencies are looking to learn more about the value of projects advertised in Web 3.0. Investors are calculating how to make more money?
Consequently, nothing is written yet. This impulse towards a new virtual Eldorado of NFT embraces different social groups. All of them are enthusiastic and bring rich ideas for our future. It's exciting to follow our French pioneers closely and to do my best to share the incredible news of this ecosystem since 2021.
I say to those who are slowed down by the jargon and new notions that we have all been through this surreal beginner phase despite our age and not understanding a single word! Everything is moving very fast, in franglais and community acronyms unbearable for our generation (those born before the year 2000!). Hang on for an exciting journey of news, top and flop.
My experience on the art market as an expert appraiser has allowed me to take a more distanced look. I direct my watch towards the valuation of artistic proposals according to the people animated by a project and the achievements taking into account our heritage in art history and more recently the movement of the digital art.
